Getting started with Akra is simple! Sign up for a free account using your email or social login. Once you're in, you can immediately start saving articles by pasting links or using the share functionality from any app. The iOS app is available on the App Store, and our web app works seamlessly on any browser.

There are multiple ways to save articles: 1) Copy and paste any URL into the app, 2) Use the iOS share sheet from any app - just tap share and select Akra, 3) Use our upcoming Chrome extension for one-click saving from desktop, or 4) Forward articles via email to your unique Akra email address (coming soon).

Spaces are collaborative collections where you can organize reads by topic or share them with friends. Create a Space for different subjects like 'Tech News', 'Recipes', or 'Book Club'. You can invite others via a unique code, and everyone can add and read articles together. It's perfect for sharing knowledge with your team or curating content with friends.

Akra automatically tracks your reading progress across all devices. When you read an article, we save your exact position, so you can start on your phone during commute and continue on your laptop at home. Your progress percentage, last read position, and completed articles are all synced in real-time.

Yes! The Akra mobile app automatically downloads articles for offline reading. Once an article is saved, you can read it anywhere without an internet connection. The app intelligently manages storage to keep your most recent and frequently accessed reads available offline.

Absolutely. Your reading list and progress are private by default. Only you can see your saved articles unless you explicitly share them in a Space. We don't sell your data or reading habits to third parties. Spaces you create are invite-only, giving you full control over who sees shared content.

Access your account settings from the profile icon in the app. You can update your username, email, manage connected social accounts, and adjust preferences. To delete your account, please contact support and we'll process your request within 48 hours, permanently removing all your data.

Akra offers a generous free tier that includes unlimited article saves, reading progress sync, and basic Spaces functionality. We're working on premium features like AI categorization, text-to-speech, and advanced collaboration tools that will be available in a paid tier. Current users will be grandfathered into special pricing.

While we work hard to parse articles correctly, some websites may have compatibility issues. If an article doesn't load properly: 1) Try refreshing the article, 2) Check if the website requires a subscription, 3) Try saving it again after a few minutes. If issues persist, use the form below to report the problematic URL and we'll investigate.
